Rate decisions are among the biggest scheduled events for the CHF. The pairs that usually react most are USD/CHF, EUR/CHF and CHF/JPY. Spreads often widen in the minutes around the announcement and price can move fast in both directions, so many traders check the time in their own zone in advance and decide whether to hold positions through it.
To see the decision on your chart, switch on economic events in TradingView’s chart settings (our TradingView economic calendar guide shows how). To compare how the CHF is moving against the other majors, use the currency strength meter.
