A practical guide to the TradingView screener: the stock, ETF, bond and crypto screeners, how to add filters, choose columns, save screens, export to CSV and turn results into a watchlist.
A screener filters thousands of symbols down to the few that match your conditions: price, volume, performance, fundamentals or technical ratings. TradingView has separate screeners for:
| Screener | What it scans |
|---|---|
| Stock | Shares, with a market/region selector |
| ETF | Exchange-traded funds, also by region |
| Bond | Government and corporate bonds |
| Crypto Coins, CEX and DEX | Coins by market cap, and pairs on centralised and decentralised exchanges |
| Pine Screener | Scans using your own Pine Script indicators |
Click + at the end of the column headers to add data, or switch between ready-made column sets such as performance or risk. Click a header to sort; right-click it to customise, move or remove the column. The chart view toggle at the top-left shows the results as a grid of mini charts. In settings you can turn on Auto refresh every 10 seconds or every minute.
Click the screen’s name to open the screens menu: Save screen, Make a copy, Rename, Create new screen, reopen one of your five recently used screens, or Export screen results as a CSV file.
Results can be sent to a watchlist, where you can chart them, add price alerts and follow the news. If your export is bigger than a watchlist allows, our Watchlist Cleaner splits it into files TradingView will accept, and the watchlist guide covers importing them. Want to build a list from scratch instead? Try the Watchlist Builder.
