Indian equity markets trade Monday to Friday. The pre-open session (order entry until about 9:08 am) sets the opening price, and continuous trading runs from 9:15 am to 3:30 pm India Standard Time. India doesn’t use daylight saving, so IST is always UTC+5:30; the clock above converts it to your time zone.
NSE and BSE publish a trading holiday list each year, including festivals such as Diwali (when a short special “Muhurat” trading session is usually held). This clock doesn’t include Indian holidays, so check the exchange’s list for a specific date.
