ChartWatch is an independent collection of free tools for traders: a TradingView watchlist builder, trading calculators, live market clocks and plain-English guides. Here’s how it works, where the information comes from and how the site is funded.
What ChartWatch is
ChartWatch is an independent website of free tools for traders, especially people who use TradingView. It started as a single tool, a watchlist generator that turns hundreds of thousands of symbols into a file TradingView can import, and has grown into a set of calculators, live market clocks and plain-English guides to the questions traders search for every day.
The aim is simple: answer the question quickly and correctly, then get you back to your chart. No sign-up, no paywall, no newsletter pop-ups.
How we check our information
- Primary sources first. Market hours and holidays come from the exchanges’ own calendars where they’re available; futures contract sizes and tick values from CME Group and ICE specifications; TradingView facts from TradingView’s help center, pricing page and documentation.
- Dated and sourced. Guides say where their figures come from and when they were checked. Where only secondary sources were available, the page says so.
- No guessing. If something couldn’t be confirmed, we leave it out or say it’s unconfirmed rather than fill the gap.
- Formulas shown. Every calculator explains how it works with a worked example, so you can check the maths yourself.
Neutral by design
ChartWatch doesn’t sell signals, courses or strategies, and doesn’t tell you what to trade. The tools work only with the numbers you enter, and the guides explain how things work rather than recommending trades or indicators. Nothing on this site is financial advice.
How ChartWatch is funded
The site is free because it shows ads (Google AdSense) and includes affiliate links to TradingView. If you sign up to TradingView through one of those links, ChartWatch may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are marked, and they never change what a page says: plan facts and prices come straight from TradingView’s own pricing page.
Independence
ChartWatch is not affiliated with, endorsed by or officially connected to TradingView, Inc., or to any exchange, broker or data provider mentioned on the site. “TradingView” and other names are trademarks of their respective owners.
Privacy
The calculators, clocks, alert builder and colour tools run entirely in your browser: what you type isn’t sent to us. The Watchlist Builder queries our symbol database to show results. See the privacy policy for details on analytics and ads.
Found a mistake?
Markets change their hours, TradingView updates its plans, and exchanges add holidays. If you spot something out of date or wrong, please tell us through the contact page and we’ll check it against the source and correct it.
