About these calculators
- Free, no sign-up: every calculator runs in your browser and nothing you type is sent anywhere.
- Your numbers only: they don’t pull live prices, so the result is always based on exactly what you enter. Where a currency conversion is needed, you enter the rate.
- Formulas shown: each page explains how the result is worked out, with a worked example, so you can check it.
- Contract specs from the source: futures tick values come from CME Group and ICE contract specifications.
Which calculator do I need?
- Before a trade: size it with the position size (forex) or crypto leverage calculator so a stop-out costs only what you planned.
- After a trade: check the result with the forex, crypto, stock, options or futures profit calculators.
- Reviewing your trading: the win rate & expectancy and drawdown calculators show whether a strategy has an edge and how much risk it carries.

FAQ
Are these trading calculators free?
Yes. All ChartWatch calculators are free, need no account and run entirely in your browser.
Do the calculators use live prices?
No. They use only the numbers you enter, so results never depend on a price feed. Where a conversion between currencies is needed, you type in the rate.
Which calculator should I use to size a trade?
For forex, gold and silver use the position size calculator. For crypto futures or spot use the crypto position size and leverage calculator. For futures contracts use the futures calculator to see what each tick is worth.
Can I use these calculators for prop firm accounts?
Yes. The maths is the same whatever the account: enter your balance, risk and the contract or pair you trade.
