Rate decisions are among the biggest scheduled events for the EUR. The pairs that usually react most are EUR/USD, EUR/GBP and EUR/JPY. Spreads often widen in the minutes around the announcement and price can move fast in both directions, so many traders check the time in their own zone in advance and decide whether to hold positions through it.
