How new symbols are found

Our symbol list is refreshed weekly from TradingView’s public symbol search. Each time, every symbol is compared with every symbol we have ever seen, and anything that appears for the first time is listed here: new crypto pairs and perpetual futures, new stock listings and ETFs, new forex sources and new exchanges. Filter by market or text, then download the list as a TradingView watchlist file and import it in one step.

A symbol can be new to our list because TradingView added it, or because it became searchable for the first time. More tools for building and cleaning lists are on the watchlist tools page.

How often is the new symbols list updated?
Every time our symbol list is refreshed, normally once a week. Each update shows the symbols that appeared for the first time.
Can I add the new symbols to TradingView?
Yes. Use 'Download as TradingView watchlist' to get a .txt file, then import it from the watchlist menu in TradingView.
