Back Up Your ChartWatch Data

What this backs up

ChartWatch doesn’t have accounts. Tools that remember things, such as the trading journal, your saved trade plans and calculator settings, keep them in this browser on this device. Nothing is sent to ChartWatch.

That keeps your data private, but it also means clearing your browsing data, switching browser or changing device loses it. Download backup saves everything in one file. Restore from file adds it back on any device: journal trades and trade plans are merged, so nothing you already have is overwritten or duplicated, and settings are only filled in where none exist unless you tick the box to replace them.

The backup is a plain JSON file containing your own entries. Keep it somewhere private, as it includes your trades and balances.
